Adult- New to Windsurfing
The Start Windsurfing course is run over two days with a maximum of six people to an instructor and is available to non-members. The course is a gentle introduction to the sport, teaching you the basics of windsurfing and covers the basics of rigging a board, getting out on the water and sailing where you want to go, turning around and getting back to shore, indeed everything required to be able to sail a board independently, and leads to an RYA Start Windsurfing qualification. The cost includes the RYA books you need to get started. All equipment is provided including a wetsuit and buoyancy aid, the only thing you need is an old pair of shoes, such as trainers, that can get wet (no flip-flops please!).
